TRU-STIR™ STIRRER SHAFT COUPLINGS, TOOL-FREE

The unique design of our Tool-Free Tru-Stir™ stirrer shaft coupling eliminates the need to use rubber hose or universal adapters to attach your stirrer shafts to overhead stir motors. Coupling incorporates a unique helical stainless steel spring permitting up to 1/4” of offset misalignment and 45° of angular misalignment. Coupling is rated for 24 in-lbs of torque without the backlash normally associated with common coil springs.

Lower portion of coupling has an anodized aluminum compression nut that secures a 10mm diameter stirrer shaft via a neoprene insert. This unique design allows a Tool-Free connection between the stirrer shaft and coupling. Upper adapter is 5/16” diameter, which permits the coupling to be used with a standard Jacobs style 3-jaw chuck. Overall length of the coupling is 4-3/4”.
