NEW, Ice-free FreezeBoxes™ are safe, energy-saving, environmentally friendly and have no additives. Other than a freezer, no electricity or ice is required for low temperature protection of biological samples. The aluminum alloy, ice cores feature high thermal conductivity and ensure samples are quickly cooled. The temperature differential between holes is less than 0.1℃ allowing for uniform temperatures between samples.
FreezeBoxes are lightweight and easy to carry. They’re ideal for collection of biological samples and can be used to help preserve unstable nucleic acid samples. The compact design and ice-free technology make them ideal for use in tissue culture incubators, bio-safety cabinets and in other applications with limited space. FreezeBoxes can also be used with different ice cores and thermal test tube modules for a variety of samples and temperatures.
• low temperature protection for biological samples
• temperature uniformity between holes
• ice cores for different storage temperatures
• applicable to a variety of thermal pipes and modules
• lightweight, easy-to-carry
• easy to clean and disinfect
• highly durable and suitable for frequent, repeated use
Usage - Easy to assemble and simple to use.
Store the appropriate ice core in an ultra-low temperature refrigerator for several hours. After the core has been chilled, place the desired tube module on the core and insert your sample or plate into the module. If dry ice is used, take the ice core out and directly fill approximately 200g of dry ice and then lay the tube module on top.
Note: Do not use any FreezeBox™ inside the freezer.
