SERIES 1700 GASTIGHT SYRINGES 5UL TO 500UL, HAMILTON

Gastight syringes are ideal for dispensing both liquids and gases. They have a polymer plunger tip which creates a leak-free seal. Traditionally the tip is made from PTFE but other materials are used for selected applications. The polymer tip wipes the interior of the syringe barrel free of sample; extending the syringe life for samples with dissolved solids like salts, proteins, or DNA.

Type 2 needle point style has 10-12° sharp, beveled, curved non-coring tip ideal for use in gas chromatography and septum piercing applications.

Type 3 needle point style has a blunt, electropolished tip ideal for use in high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) injection, thin-layer chromatography (TLC), general liquid handling, and controlled animal injections.
