Probes

The VisiFerm DO is the first optical oxygen sensor with integrated opto-electronics, having the full functionality of a measuring device with self diagnostics. It is steam sterilizable, autoclavable and CIP compatible. The VisiFerm requires less maintenance than a classical oxygen sensor as it does not have a mechanically sensitive membrane or a corrosive electrolyte.

Advantages of Optical Measurement:
• More accurate measurement because optical sensors do not consume oxygen
• Without Electrolyte the sensor reading is not affected by mounting orientation
• Quicker response time results in less wasted product
• Improved Mechanical and measurement stability with a glass window
• Signal is not influenced by electrostatics and mechanical stress
• No impact on measurement or sensor life due to H2S fouling
